Jeganathan

A former cloud engineer turned full-time chess educator, Jeganathan is a FIDE National Instructor awarded by the International Chess Federation, with nearly 15 years of coaching experience.

He holds 6 FIDE chess titles — including FIDE National Instructor, FIDE Chess Lead School Instructor (Lecturer), and FIDE Arena International Master — and is certified by the FIDE Chess in Education Commission.

Over his career he has taught students ages 4–15 across India and internationally. Many of his students have excelled at state and national competitions, earning rated titles and trophies along the way.

His teaching blends rigorous tactical training with a warm, encouraging style that helps every child build focus, confidence, and a genuine love for the game. Whether a student is sitting down at the board for the very first time or preparing for a rated tournament, Jeganathan meets them where they are and helps them grow.

Beyond competitive results, his goal is to use chess as a tool to develop critical thinking, patience, and resilience — skills that serve students far beyond the chessboard.
